Koby’s Story
In 2022, Koby tragically lost his life in a car crash on a rural road after becoming distracted while driving. He had only recently gotten his licence and had his whole future ahead of him.
Koby was full of life — the kind of person who was friends with everyone. He was always cracking jokes, making people laugh, and bringing energy wherever he went. More than anything, Koby cared deeply about the people around him and was the kind of person who looked out for everyone.
His loss has left a deep hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Koby’s story is shared to honour his life and to remind others how quickly a moment of distraction on the road can change everything. Behind every road statistic is a life, a family, and a community that will never be the same.
